Hertz Global Holdings has announced the appointment of Justin Keppy as their new Chief Operating Officer. Keppy, who previously served as the president of Carrier’s North American residential and light commercial HVAC segment, will officially join Hertz on November 15th.

Driving Exceptional Growth During Challenging Times

During his tenure at Carrier, Keppy successfully led the company’s largest business line and achieved remarkable top-line growth, even amidst the complexities brought about by the pandemic. Prior to his role at Carrier, Keppy held senior positions at UTC Aerospace Systems, Hamilton Sundstrand, Shawmut, Ford Motor, and the U.S. Army.

A Seasoned Leader with Vast Operational Expertise

With over 25 years of operational experience in both the private sector and U.S. military, Justin Keppy brings a wealth of leadership skills to his new role. Hertz CEO Stephen Scherr spoke highly of Keppy, stating, “Justin is a seasoned leader with a proven track record, and we are thrilled to have him join our team.”

Continuity in Leadership

Keppy’s appointment comes shortly after Hertz’s former Chief Operating Officer, Paul Stone, left the company to pursue opportunities in the retail sector. As Hertz continues to navigate the challenges of the current market, Keppy’s arrival is expected to provide stability and strategic insight.
