Vinci, a leading French construction and infrastructure company, reported impressive third-quarter results. With a revenue of €18.27 billion ($19.30 billion), an increase of 9.4% on a reported basis and 8.3% on a like-for-like basis compared to the previous year, Vinci demonstrated robust growth.
The positive performance was driven by Vinci’s energies and concessions businesses, which boasted a substantial 15% and 16% growth, respectively, on a reported basis. This contributed significantly to the overall revenue increase.
Furthermore, Vinci’s order book reached a record high of €63.3 billion as of September 30, marking a noteworthy 10% increase compared to the same period last year.
Encouraged by these outstanding results, the company has raised its outlook for free cash flow, anticipating the achievement of at least €4.5 billion by 2023. This revised outlook surpasses the initial expectation of falling within the range of €4.0 billion to €4.5 billion.
Vinci’s solid performance in Q3 2021 reinforces its confidence in achieving its other 2023 guidance as well, ensuring continued growth and success for the company.
