Stock Market Pre-market Movements

The U.S. stock markets are poised to open in two hours, and there are some notable pre-market movements. Roku Inc. Cl A (ROKU) is up 18.7%, while Shopify Inc. Cl A (SHOP) is up 15.2%.

Other gainers in early trading include e.l.f. Beauty Inc. (ELF), Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR), and EPAM Systems Inc. (EPAM), all posting gains of at least 12%. However, Confluent Inc. (CFLT) and Procore Technologies Inc. (PCOR) have experienced declines, falling 35.1% and 21.9% respectively.

Looking at futures, the S&P 500 futures are up 0.52%, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures up 0.36%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures, on the other hand, have decreased by 5.45%.

In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures have increased by 1.48%, while gold futures are up 0.47%. Bitcoin has also seen a slight increase of 0.18% to reach $35,371.

Meanwhile, the 10-Year Treasury yield has dropped to 4.711%.

In the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow showed positive signs, with increases of 1.05% and 0.67% respectively. In the Asian markets, there was a mix of performances, with Japan’s NIKKEI 225 Index up 1.10%, while China’s Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.45%.

As for Europe, stocks are on the rise in afternoon trading. The STOXX Europe 600 Index is currently up 1.52%, and the FTSE 100 Index has climbed by 1.27% since the previous close.
