1 Mins read

Cognizant, a leading professional services company, has announced its plans to acquire Thirdera, the largest global pure-play ServiceNow consultancy. This strategic move is part of Cognizant’s growth strategy in collaboration with ServiceNow.

With this acquisition, Cognizant’s ServiceNow Business Group will be strengthened by the addition of Thirdera’s expertise in solutions related to the ServiceNow platform. This will result in the integration of 940 employees from Thirdera into Cognizant.

Details regarding the financial terms of this agreement have not been disclosed at this time.

Thirdera’s renowned ServiceNow training platform, Thirdera University, will play a vital role in credentialing resources to meet the increasing demand within the ServiceNow ecosystem, according to Cognizant.

Ravi Kumar S, Chief Executive of Cognizant, expressed his confidence in the combined capabilities of both companies: “I believe that the combination of Cognizant’s deep industry knowledge, AI expertise, and platform capabilities, along with Thirdera’s cutting-edge offerings in enterprise transformation, will position Cognizant as a leader in thought leadership and innovation within the ServiceNow ecosystem.”

The acquisition is expected to be finalized next month.

Cognizant and ServiceNow are already collaborating on a $1 billion joint project focused on AI-driven automation.
